Our Cattle
100% Grass Fed & Grass Finished
When we say our beef is 100% grass-fed and finished, we mean that from start to finish, our animals are raised on a natural diet of grasses and forage-never grain. Unlike conventional livestock, which are often grain-fed during their final months to promote faster weight gain, our cattle spend the summer grazing high up on a 300 acre ranch high up in the Pecos mountains with 13 natural springs and overwinter with us here in Sile on our pastures and our alfalfa.

Gertrudis Breed
Two renowned breeds known for their exceptional meat quality, adaptability, and resilience. By combining these breeds, we produce beef that is tender, flavorful, and nutrient rich, while ensuring our cattle thrive in our regenerative, pasture-based system.
Black Angus cattle are prized worldwide for their marbling, which results in tender, juicy beef with flavor. Known for their hardiness and gentle temperament, Black Angus cattle thrive on pasture, developing lean muscle and healthy fats that contribute to nutrient-dense beef. Their natural ability to convert grass into high-quality protien aligns perfectly with our commitment to 100% grass-fed and finished beef.
Santa Gertrudis developed in the hot, arid climate of South Texas and are known for their heat tolerance, adaptability, and robust health. This breed thrives in pasture-based environments, efficiently grazing on diverse forage while maintaining excellent body condition. Their lean, flavorful beef is rich in protein and essential nutrients, making them a perfect complement to our regenerative farming practices.
